Samuel Johns is the founder and Director of My Job Wizard. Through Samuel’s undergraduate degree at RMIT in Entrepreneurship and in discussions with fellow peers at his casual job, he identified a genuine need for a service that could help international students navigate their way through the rigours of applying for jobs and gaining employment.
After conducting extensive research into the general issues faced by these students, he prepared a business plan for the RMIT Business plan Competition where he and his team where awarded 3rd prize and also won the Melbourne City Councils Lord Mayors Prize for International Trade.
Samuel has also traveled extensively and has had the opportunity to experience life in other countries. He is very much aware of the difficulty that cultural differences play and how these can sometimes impact on one’s confidence and ability to successfully adapt to new environments.
So, armed with his success academically as well as his life’s experiences, My Job Wizard was born. There has also been the support and guidance of a number of influential people over the development of this business such as James Masini (founder of Hippo Jobs) as well as David Shave, (Director of his own Human Resources business and with an astonishing 45 years in the industry).
Today, My Job Wizard employs a team of people who are both qualified and have strong experience in the Employment and Recruitment industry to ensure that you are getting the most accurate and up to date products and services available.
